He lays there on her chest, eyes closed while she plays with his hair. A tear rolls down his face, and she looks surprised. “Why are you crying?” she asks. He doesn’t realize he had started crying and he says it’s nothing. She continues playing with his hair, caressing his face when another tear falls down. “What’s wrong baby?” “It’s nothing, I don’t know why I’m crying.” She comforts him and kisses him while he seems to feel better. He seems to be a bit disappointed in himself for showing such weakness. Later on, she texts him to ask why he had started crying earlier. He responds, “I was thinking about leaving you.” “Really? What exactly was on your mind?” “I didn’t want to leave you. Whether it’s to go to work or to go home or when I have to leave again. I just want to stay in your arms.”

I don’t know why this got to me so much.
